Nenad Gucunski is a professor and chair of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering at Rutgers University, a state university in New Jersey. His career was marked by the RABIT (Robotics Assisted Bridge Inspection Tool) project in which a robotic bridge testing system was developed. For this achievement, Professor Gucunski received the prestigious Charles Pankow Award in 2014, given by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).<\/p>\n

Professor Gucunski visited the Faculty of Civil Engineering University of Zagreb in the period of 24th to 26th August, and we used this opportunity to present the ASAP project. On that occasion, project doctoral student Ksenija Te\u0161i\u0107 presented the research within her doctoral dissertation, and possible cooperation was discussed, taking into account the professor’s expertise in this field.<\/p>\n
