Experts from the Faculty of Civil Engineering carried out a static and dinamic examination of the bridge in cooperation with colleagues from Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb and Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture, University of Maribor.

In the static testing phase, tucks were positioned on the bridge to cause maximum displacements in the mid-spans of the bridge, maximum loads on abutments and columns, maximum constraint in critical sections of the structure and maximum forces in oblique bridge tensions. Previously, all load phases were verified by the computational model, also the expected values of displacement, internal forces and constraint were determined.

In the phase of dynamic testing was planned the passing of trucks at different speed, and their braking during which the dinamic displacements of the structure are measured. In addition, dymanic tests include the determination of basic dynamic structural parameters and the determination of dynamic parameters of oblique bridge tensions.

The obtained results are, in addition to determining the initial state and characteristics of the brigde structure, of great importance for the foresight of the bridge during the projected hundred-year sand.
